50 SHADES OF BLUE
90min – from €485.- p.p.
This flight is very different from all other tours in many perspectives. We start flying towards Son Vida and get to cross under the Airspace of the International airport and cross the Bay of Palma towards Cala Blava. It’s from there where we start our scenic tour extraordinaire. Following the edges of the unlimited ‘50 shades of blue’. Discover the south-east side of the Island a truly different area.
This is a scenic flight, routing along with a variety of beautiful cliffs and long, white sandy beaches. A magical spectacle of fifty shades of blue shining up from the shallow waters. After the striking impressions of Sa Rapita, Ses Covetes and Es Trenc, you arrive at the next highlight. The Salt Flats of Ses Salines. A unique visual colourful experience, a spectrum from rusty red to purple-pink sea salt crystals sparkling from down below.
Often you get to see flamingos flying below – an incredible, almost mystical affair. Let’s continue flying toward the southernmost point of the island Cap de Ses Salines, and up towards the bouquet of Calas. Cala Santanyi, Cala d‘Or, Cala Marmols, Cala Lombards, Cala Santanyi and counting. At this point you are at the edge of your seat, trying to take it all in.
Wait until you arrive at the National Park of Mondrago, where the white sands, coves and shapes fill you in for a spectacular experience. As if this wasn’t enough, let’s fly towards Portocolom, for the final peak of a small fishing port in a natural deep harbour, perfect for diving.
From here inwards we fly towards the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador, which prides itself on the highest point of Serra de Llevant. From then on back on to our home base aerodrome of Son Bonet, flying back the same way, experiencing everything once again from a different angle, letting all the impressions penetrate into your memory. A truly incredible experience.
